A Visit to Bovie Medical Corporation - July 21, 2014

This summer,
John Curington, veteran of 2 NSVI missions to the
Philippines and one mission to
Kenya, flew in to visit. Since
Bovie Medical Corporation is
not far from the Tampa airport, we pre-arranged a visit to tour
the manufacturer of our thermal cautery units right after
John's arrival.

 We were treated to the Grand Tour by none other than the President of Bovie, J. Robert Saron. As he founded a prior company, he considered the name Saron Medical, but changed the Saron to Aaron for better placement in alphabetical listings. Aaron was so successful that it eventually bought the Bovie name and many of the original product lines. Rob knows how important thermal cautery is to the Vasectomy World, so that was the emphasis of his tour. |
