Third Annual International NSVI Vasectomy Ski Seminar January 23-27, 2017; Frisco, Colorado

The Third Annual International NSVI Vasectomy Ski Seminar drew a huge crowd of 7 vasectomist participants (two of whom brought spouses) from 3 countries. All doubled as faculty and audience, exchanging data and ideas on a wide range of topics pertaining to the social and technical aspects of vasectomy. While these exchanges were scattered throughout each day on ski lifts, hiking trails, and Frisco's delightful Main Street, the formal didactic sessions took place on select evenings, usually following fine food and wine consumed at the cozy A8 condo or one of Frisco's many pubs and restaurants.

Clockwise around the table are NSVI President Ramon Suarez (Naples, Florida), Sarah Miller (who single-hahdedly spearheaded the new vasectomy program at Planned Parenthood of NYC), Karl Shelly and Vasectomist Michelle Shelly (Goshen, Indiana), NSVI Education Director and Missioner/Envoy to Philippines, Hiati, Kenya, Cuba, and Mexico John Curington (Tampa, Florida), performer of 10% of Australian vasectomies and host of World Vasectomy Day 2013 Nick Demediuk (Melbourne, Victoria), UK expert and snowboarder supreme Mike Henchy (Peterborough, Cambridgeshire), and Maryann Stein, emotional support and social advisor for the not-shown photographer Doug Stein (Tampa, Florida).

On Tuesday Jan 24, there was a special wine tasting by Suzanne of Frisco Wine Merchants. Suzanne is a wine genius and VERY entertaining in her enthusiasm for it. After the wine tasting, we walked up the street to Kemosabe Sushi and feasted on a huge variety of Japanese delicacies.
There was a special evening of German beer and sausages at Ein Prosit.
This was the week of the International Snow Sculpture Champoinships in Breckenridge (Who won?).
