The Fifth Annual International NSVI Vasectomy Ski Seminar drew a huge crowd of 12 vasectomist participants from 5 countries, and 3 Members of the World Vasectomy Day staff. All doubled as faculty and audience, exchanging data and ideas on a wide range of topics pertaining to the social and technical aspects of vasectomy. While these exchanges were scattered throughout each day on ski lifts, hiking trails, and Frisco's delightful Main Street, the formal didactic sessions took place on select evenings, usually following fine food and wine consumed at the cozy A8 condo or one of Frisco's many pubs and restaurants. This year was a very family-oriented meeting. We had 4 boys ages 11, 9, 7, and 5; 1 girl age 16 months; and one miniature poodle age 18 months.

My biggest disappointment was not getting a shot of the whole group when all were in attendance, after late arrivers and before early departers. But here are some of us.
Standing: Robert Kulik (Warsaw, Poland), Doug Stein (Tampa), Alison Hoover (WVD) with partner Peter, Karl Shelly (Goshen, IN)
Seated on sofa: Sarah Demediuk (Melbourne, Vistoria), John Curington (Tampa), Henry Demediuk (10), Doron Boone (Bristol, UK), Melanie Savard-Cote (St-Joseph-du-Lac, QC), Nick Demediuk, Jonathan Stack (World Vasectomy Day, NYC), Jim Haller (Minneapolis, MN).

Some repeats above with the addition of Maryann Stein (Tampa) and Maeve and Sarah Miller (Boston).
Here are the TOPICS that were covered in depth (see Program):

Anesthesia techniques
