Vasectomy in Sarasota County Florida:
Sarasota County Health Department
Title X (Ten) coverage of vasectomy
services is available for low-income men on a sliding scale.
Vasectomy services are provided under contract
with Drs. Stein & Galante. (1) A financial screening and counseling visit to one of two county health department clinics is the
first step. At least
30 days after the counseling visit, the vasectomy is performed at their
location in
Tampa/Lutz. Partner consent is not necessary. Drs. Stein &
Galante will also provide each vasectomy
patient with a mailer to send in a semen sample three months later so that a return trip to
the clinic is not necessary.

Again, vasectomies are performed by Drs. Doug Stein and Galante on a regular basis per their "Schedule", in Lutz/Tampa. Procedure scheduling is done through their Lutz/Tampa office. If you ARE NOT eligible for assistance, you may still have your vasectomy in Lutz for a fee of $590. A separate counseling visit is not required. Counseling is done online by reviewing the Vasectomy Page and by watching Dr. Stein's counseling video. A 30-day wait is not required. |
