Feedback From Happy VasWeb Patients

Had my vasectomy done here with Dr. Alex Galante and it was 100% a great experience. Dr. G. made sure that I was aware and that I full wanted to commit to the operation. The operation itself was little to pain free and three days later almost completely healed as far as discomfort. I would 100% recommend you get your vasectomy with Dr. Galante. Professional and caring enough to check on his patients after the operation.

Eric Mollett

Dr. Samplaski and her team made the entire process smooth, professional, and truly pain-free. From start to finish, I felt informed, comfortable, and confident I was in good hands. It’s clear they prioritize patient care and efficiency, this was by far one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend for anyone considering a long-term family planning option. Thank you again for your excellent care

Dele Rockson

I had a great experience with Dr. Samplaski at the pop-up clinic in Port Orange. The worst part was the anxiety of taking the leap. Once we got going, she was awesome - calming, friendly, and very thoughtful throughout, which was critical for me. I had no pain during numbing or the procedure, and really no pain afterward, either. I have several friends who had this procedure done elsewhere and endured a good bit of pain, bruising and swelling. They spent an entire day with ice on their crotch. I am now at the 72 hour mark, feel essentially 100% and have zero pain, zero bruising, and zero swelling. Highly recommended. 10/10

Trent Thompson

I had a great experience at the office of Dr. Galante. Days before my surgery they reached out and sent a video for me to watch. When I arrived at the office, the staff was amazing and very welcoming. I was escorted to the back very promptly. I was able to meet the doctor. Had a couple of minutes to discuss the process, I will be going through. The procedure did not take long at all. It was painless. I felt very comfortable during the week after the doctor reached out to make sure that I was still doing OK thank you

Irvin Rivera

FAQs

A vasectomy is considered a permanent form of birth control. While reversal procedures exist, they are more complex and not always successful, so patients should only proceed if they are confident in their long-term decision.

A vasectomy is not immediately effective. Patients must use alternative contraception until a follow-up semen test confirms that no sperm is present, which typically occurs after several weeks.

A vasectomy does not affect testosterone levels, sexual performance, or libido. The procedure only blocks sperm from entering the semen and does not interfere with hormone production.

Yes, many patients travel to VasWeb for their procedure. While we primarily serve patients across Tampa, Orlando, and Central Florida, our efficient, one-visit approach makes it a practical option for those coming from other parts of the U.S. and internationally.

After the procedure, patients should avoid heavy lifting, strenuous activity, and exercise for about a week. Following post-procedure instructions helps reduce discomfort and supports proper healing.

If a patient decides they want children in the future, a vasectomy reversal may be an option. However, success depends on multiple factors, so it’s important to treat vasectomy as a long-term decision.

There is no visible change in appearance or function. The procedure does not affect how the body looks or performs, and most patients notice no difference after recovery.
