Alex E. Galante, M.D. was raised in Indiana. He completed his undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned the best academic record in the College of Arts and Sciences. He remained at CWRU’s medical school for his M.D. degree then completed his urology residency at the University of Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Urology.
During his first few years of general urology practice, Dr. Galante enjoyed performing vasectomies so much that he decided to super-specialize. In June 2023, after his vasectomy technique was vetted personally by Dr. Stein, he joined VasWeb-a practice which specializes in promoting, providing, and teaching vasectomy worldwide. Since his practice is focused solely on vasectomy, Dr. Galante is one of the highest-volume vasectomy providers in the entire country. His patient reviews confirm his high level of technical skill, professionalism, and patient-focused care.
Since joining Vasweb, Dr. Galante has been involved in training doctors from around the world on the No Needle, No Scalpel vasectomy technique. Those doctors enrolled in Dr. Stein's formal vasectomy training program typically observe Dr. Galante as part of the training experience. Additionally, Dr. Galante has travelled overseas to train others on vasectomy technique, most recently in 2024 and 2025 as part of the World Vasectomy Day training program in Buenos Aires Province and Autonomous City, Argentina. Dr. Galante was also invited as an international speaker on vasectomy at the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) in Perth, Australia in 2025.
