The Levy County Health Department pay for vasectomy services for men without health insurance who qualify based upon income and family size. Drs. Doug Stein & Alex Galante are the vasectomy services providers for the LCHD and perform vasectomies every 8-10 weeks at their location in Ocala.

One might expect that "Main Street" in Bronson would be US-27 / State Road 500. But it's not. Main Street is a rather non-descript street that crosses US-27 at a rather odd angle. The Health Department is located on this small road a block off the main drag, US-27.
If there are no more Title 10 funds for the current fiscal year (July 1 - June 30), or if you do not qualify, you may still have your vasectomy performed by Dr. Galante in Ocala. The fee is $690.
