To find out whether the Health Department presently has funds for their vasectomy program (sometimes funds run out before the end of their July 1 - June 30 fiscal year), please call (352) 334-7900 and ask for a "Triage Appointment" to complete your paperwork so that Title 10 will cover your vasectomy.

Drs. Doug Stein and Alex Galante are vasectomy providers for the Alachua County Health Department, and perform vasectomies on a regular basis at Wisdo Family Medicine in Ocala. The fee is $690 if you do not qualify for Title 10 assistance. If there are no more Title 10 funds for the current fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) in Alachua, you may seek assistance in a nearby county such as Marion.
